Volunteers of the Singapore centre sent care packages including cakes and birthday gifts to the senior residents of the Lions Home for the Elderly in Singapore. Despite not being able to visit the centre due to COVID restrictions, volunteers managed to express their love and concern for the elderly residents through this thoughtful gesture.

Volunteers of various centres across the USA such as San Jose (California), Freemont (California) and Dallas (Texas), distributed winter clothing to local homeless shelters. Winter clothing included jackets, blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, socks and other items. Over 575 lives were touched through this gesture!
NMIMS’s Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering. College of Engineering, Mumbai, partnered with Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care for one of their causes as a part of their annual Serve Out Smiles (SOS), a social impact programme.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, elders were restricted to the confines of their homes, unable to meet their families. In an effort to spread joy amongst them, volunteers of the San Diego centre hand-made over 500 encouragement and motivational cards for distribution amongst the elders in their community.
The volunteers also distributed school supplies and backpacks for children and some board games for families to enjoy during cozy winter. This initiative will help provide warmth and care to those in need during this winter.
Recently, a severely injured parrot was brought to the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home. The parrot displayed clear indications of trauma and was unable to even flap its wings.
Volunteers of the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care Long Island Centre conducted a hunger relief drive through which over 10,000 pounds of rice was packed and donated to various shelters and outreach centres, benefitting over 33,000 people in need!
