On 4th April, a devastating earthquake struck Myanmar, causing widespread destruction and leaving many communities without basic necessities. In immediate response to this natural disaster, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s Singapore centre organised a donation drive to support those affected.
Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care continues to extend warmth and support through regular visits to old age homes and orphanages in Singapore, fostering emotional connection and community spirit. Each month, SRLC organises a food support initiative, where lower-income families share their essential needs, and volunteers help fulfil them—ensuring no family is left behind.
Volunteers from the Jaipur centre of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care recently visited Bal Sambhal Ashram, an orphanage located in Chandwaji, approximately 40 kilometres from Jaipur. The visit was filled with compassion, connection, and celebration.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, the Ghatkopar centre of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care hosted vibrant celebrations across two locations in Mumbai – Lumbini Buddha Vihar slum in Panther Nagar, Vikroli and Asalpha, in association with Sahyog Chetak Trust. The events brought joy and empowerment to over 100 women from underprivileged communities.
Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care continues its mission to combat hunger and provide support to the underprivileged through various food distribution activities across cities in India. In Chennai, hot food and sweets were distributed to patients, their attendants, and other needy individuals, bringing comfort and nourishment to those in distress.
Across North America, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care centres have undertaken impactful hunger relief initiatives, distributing thousands of PB&J sandwiches, loaves of bread, bagels, and grocery bags to homeless shelters, food pantries, low-income families, and children’s homes.
Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care continues to spread warmth and connection through its ongoing initiatives in the UK. In London, “Cuppa and Catch-Up” sessions are held at the London Spiritual Centre every second and fourth Tuesday, offering companionship to combat loneliness.
Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care centres in Hong Kong and Singapore recently reached out more than 300 individuals through acts of kindness and generosity. In Hong Kong, volunteers visited the Hung Hom District Council Office, where they distributed essential fortune bags filled with food and masks, bringing comfort to 80 elderly and needy individuals. On another occasion, 75 more people received vital hygiene products like hand wash, tissues, and earphones.
