SWAMI Home Visit: Spreading smiles

SWAMI (Sunshine Welfare Action Mission) Home, founded by Sai Baba, is a Voluntary Welfare Organisation in Singapore. It is home to 242 elderly residents.

On 8th April, SRLC Singapore members visited the Swami Home during tea break. It was truly memorable with some volunteers interacting with the residents while serving them snacks and drinks and others entertaining the residents with Bhakti (music) and Garba (traditional Indian dance). The residents joined in by clapping and swaying in their seats. The visit ended off with a game of Bingo and it was heartwarming to watch the residents participate eagerly.
