Humanitarian initiatives benefit more than 2000 less-privileged in Wankaner

Volunteers of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s Wankaner centre conducted several humanitarian initiatives for the less-privileged people of the city. A medical camp was organised to provide healthcare services and necessary treatment. To help reduce the risks to workers by prolonged exposure to high temperature as well as intense physical labour, volunteers distributed butter milk to over 1500 people to keep them well-hydrated and provide nutritious intake.

A food distribution drive in Muscat brings respite to the construction workers!

Volunteers in Muscat conducted a food distribution drive for the workers of a contracting company in Wadi Kabir, Muscat. For a hard-working construction worker, his monthly wages are essential to support his expenses for the month. However, over 450 workers there struggled for the most basic essentials like food. When a list of the basic commodities was shared by the Welfare Officer of the company, volunteers promptly took action and large quantities of essentials like rice, sugar, flour etc. were supplied for distribution to the different camps. This food distribution drive was instrumental in bringing relief and smiles on the faces of the construction workers and their families!
