Seniors residing in hospice homes often struggle with loneliness and depression. To spread cheer amongst the elderly, volunteers organized an interactive entertainment session for the residents of Assisi Hospice, a palliative care center.
Volunteers performed traditional Indian dances, while the residents joined in by clapping and grooving in their seats. Through mind stimulating games such as Bingo, the residents and volunteers were able to interact and bond with each other. Spending only a few hours together, the residents and volunteers shared a memorable and elevating experience.
