Volunteers of the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care San Francisco Centre distributed over 70 hand-stitched specialised pillows to cancer patients, with the aim of providing them comfort during long drives.
These port pillows are rectangular pillows that chemotherapy patients can use with a seatbelt to relieve pressure and possible irritation around the chemo port.
Volunteers donated these hand-stitched pillows to the Cancer CAREPoint, a local non-profit providing non-medical support to cancer patients in Silicon Valley.
