Lucy, a 6.5-year-old pet Labrador Retriever, was suffering from severe vomiting and was hence brought to Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home for urgent medical attention.
Upon a thorough physical examination, the veterinary team identified an obstruction in the intestine as the cause of her symptoms, resulting from a mango kernel lodged in the intestine.
The team quickly performed a surgery under general anaesthesia to remove the object and initiated a post-surgery dietary plan, including antibiotics, analgesics, and routine dressings, to aid Lucy’s recovery.
Lucy was then carefully monitored and later discharged with a clean bill of health!
