Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care volunteers became a ‘Santa’ for many on the occasion of Christmas.
Volunteers conducted a toy drive in San Diego by donating gently used toys to over 200 children. The donation was made to Passion 4 K.I.D.S. (Kids in Desperate Situations), an organisation that helps handicapped, abandoned, abused and underprivileged children along with children in acute, life-threatening, emergency situations in the United States.
Volunteers in Singapore distributed backpacks, water bottles, toiletries and snacks to 110 migrant workers at the New Amber Park Condominium construction site in Singapore. They also visited the Lions Home for Elders in Singapore to celebrate Christmas with the elderly residents. The volunteers brought in birthday cake, snacks, drinks and birthday gifts. They sang joyful songs and played games, making the residents very cheerful.
Through these initiatives, volunteers ensured that those who are less-privileged also got an opportunity to smile through the festive season.
