Shrimad Rajchandra Safe Motherhood Programme is an opportunity for less privileged expectant mothers to deliver in a clean and safe environment.
India accounts for the largest number of maternal deaths in the world, and many of these can be prevented if women give birth in well-equipped hospitals such as Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital . Many of the women who come to our hospital for deliveries are very young (18-20 years) and often underweight. In addition, many women are severely anaemic and are brought to the hospital in a critical condition with serious complications.
Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital provides an excellent facility to ensure safe deliveries, as the mothers and infants are given round-the-clock care with constant supervision of qualified gynaecologists. We recognise that quality prenatal care can help prevent many of these complications. We also organise awareness drives or ‘Mamta Divas’ through which expectant mothers are provided with medical check-ups, counselling along with mineral and vitamin tablets.
