Shrimad Rajchandra Indigenous Skill Programme provides avenues for promotion of local skills and to provide economic support. This initiative encourages tribals to handcraft a range of products, thereby preserving their crafts and cultural heritage. Through this initiative, we provide opportunities to rural craftsmen and artisans and play a pivotal role in ensuring their financial freedom. Products such as pen stands, vases and card holders are hand-painted in traditional “Warli” art form and sold under the brand of ‘Raj Kruti’. In addition, the ‘Cards for a Cause’ initiative through which greeting cards are made by tribal students, have sold over 400,000 cards. The profits from these sales help in the overall development of the artisans and in providing them a life of dignity.
