Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital felicitated for its efforts in treating children with birth defects

Marking World Birth Defect Day, Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital was felicitated with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Valsad District Development Officer – Ms. Arpit Sagar, in recognition of its effort in identifying and treating children with birth defects.
Under the National programme of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital has been training health teams to conduct screening and referrals for birth defects from delivery points, anganwadis and house to house screening.
Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital along with Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre have been instrumental in identification, early management and treatment of a significant number of children with birth defects in and around the Valsad district.
