Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Aids 2024: An Impetus for Education

Education is an integral aspect of every child’s life. Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, through its ‘Educational Care’ programme, aims to provide a conducive environment for students to receive quality education and the means to attain it.

Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Aids is an annual mega distribution drive that addresses a critical problem faced by less-privileged students: lack of affordable stationery such as notebooks and school bags. Recognising that the right to education is critical for every student, this drive provides high-quality educational aids at highly subsidised rates to

ensure that the most disadvantaged students receive the necessary resources to pursue their education effectively.

Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Aids has grown into a nation-wide movement of love and care. The 2024 drive spread to several centres across India, including Ahmedabad, Idar, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Rajkot, Samastipur, Vadodara, Valsad, Vishakapatnam etc. A new initiative this year was collaboration with the industrial clusters of Daman, Vapi, Valsad and Silvassa in South Gujarat through distribution centres within factory premises of companies like Bayer India Pvt Ltd., Atul Ltd., Meril Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., Aarti

Industries Ltd., Flair Writing Industries Ltd., Balaji Wafers Pvt Ltd., Indo Count Industries Ltd., Blue Star Ltd. etc, thereby enhancing accessibility for employees' children.

The impact of this drive has been substantial. Each year, the initiative touches lakhs of lives and expands its reach. In the current academic year, over 25 lakh books and

stationery items were distributed to over 2,50,000 students across more than 150 centres in 7 states, including 300 villages. This was made possible through the unwavering efforts of over 650 dedicated volunteers spread across India, who weathered the scorching heat in the months of May-June to bring smiles on the faces of families.

The success of Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Aids demonstrates the power of collective effort in making education accessible to all. By ensuring that less privileged

students receive the necessary educational resources, the drive is playing a crucial role in empowering the next generation and building a more educated and equitable society.
