Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre was showcased as one of the model centres of India in the field of early intervention at a conference organised by The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) in New Delhi. Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendrabhai Modi was the keynote speaker at the conference, attended by 1600 participants. Administered by the World Health Organisation, PMNCH is an alliance of over 1000 organisations from health communities and health influencing sectors in 192 countries.
Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre was selected to be featured on this international platform by Dr. Arun Singh – National Advisor, Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram, Government of India. Dr. Singh gave a presentation detailing the high-quality interventions and therapies being offered to the less privileged people of South Gujarat. In addition, all activities conducted by the centre were live-streamed to the entire audience, who appreciated the work being done by the Mission to promote newborn and child health.
