Shrimad Rajchandra District Early Intervention Centre is a dedicated centre to prevent or at least minimise physical or neurological disabilities in newborn babies and infants. The Government of India has recognised our centre as a model centre, one to be replicated in every district across the country.
Babies born prematurely are at a high risk of developing serious complications such as cerebral palsy, blindness, hearing loss and physical, cognitive and neuro-motor disabilities. Early intervention is the key to minimising the long-term effects of these complications.
