Volunteers of the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care San Francisco centre undertook multiple initiatives to distribute food and offer relief to members of various underserved sections of society across the city.
Food packets were distributed to homeless individuals and families, while baby milk powder was distributed to support infants in need.
Extending a helping hand to the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, volunteers donated non-perishable food items like oatmeal, peanut butter, pasta, canned fruits and vegetables. The initiative was made possible with the support of the Alameda Food Bank and the Fairview Elementary School.
Volunteers also made lunch bags to support WeHOPE, a local organisation serving those in need. Each lunch bag had sandwiches, juice box, granola bar and fruit along with a lovely inspirational message.
