The Ahimsa Peace Forest and Garden, an initiative of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care UK, was graced by the presence of Pujya Gurudevshri! Launched in partnership with the OneJAIN organization, the project commemorates the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by the planting of over 1,500 trees and flowering buds in the heart of Harrow, London.
During Pujya Gurudevshri’s visit, volunteers gathered to plant trees and saplings, and also convey their gratitude to Eugene Callinan BEM, Park Warden; Nitin Parekh, Mayor of Harrow; and OneJAIN for their invaluable support of this project. On this occasion, Pujya Gurudevshri planted a special Commemorative Silver Birch Tree. The Ahimsa Peace Forest and Garden enriches the local community by providing a green and tranquil space, and falls under the environmental initiative of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care UK, called ‘Planting for Peace’. This initiative promotes love for the environment and peace amongst communities by the planting of trees across the country.
