Celebrating International Women’s Day through Empowerment

In Dharampur, a motivational session was organised for 400 tribal women from across 9 villages of South Gujarat. The women were inspired by a touching experience sharing by Chief Guest – Police Inspector Smt. H.J. Patel, who shared how she overcame several hurdles to build a successful career. Sangita Patel, a lady Sarpanch of Kaprada taluka, also spoke her leadership journey. Staff from the Government’s Women Helpline (181) and Ministry of Women and Child Development’s ‘Sakhi One Stop Centre’, shared useful tips to combat all types of abuse.

Offering Relief to Victims of the Turkey-Syria Earthquake

The Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care New York centre partnered with the Turkish Consulate in New York City and PortX, a transportation service company, to donate supplies to the victims of the disastrous earthquake that struck the regions of Turkey and Syria. These supplies included sleeping bags, baby diapers, toiletries, sleeping bags and nutritious packaged foods.

The Wave of Change – Beach Cleanliness Drive

A group of passionate young volunteers gathered at local beach in Mumbai for a beach clean-up drive. With their enthusiasm and dedication, these volunteers from the Ghatkopar Youth Group of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care made a significant impact by clearing plastic waste and other litter from the beach, contributing to the conservation of the environment.
