Extending care to families in need

Shrimad Rajchnadra Love and Care recently supported 90 families through essential kit distributions at two hospitals in Mumbai. At Sion Hospital, ration kits were provided to families of 50 children with Thalassemia, helping ease their financial burden and allowing them to focus on their child’s care. At Nair Hospital, foodgrain kits were distributed to 40 patients, many of them were sole breadwinners undergoing long-term treatment.

Monsoon Relief for the Poor and Homeless

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care’s Humanitarian Care programme has been steadfast in providing relief to the marginalised communities across the globe. As a part of this noble intent, it strives to provide essential monsoon relief material to the less-privileged people.

Advanced Workshops for Veterinarians

A joint initiative of the Animal Care and Educational Care programmes, two advanced workshops on fracture repair and surgical management of joint diseases in small animals were organised. Over 30 veterinarians from diverse states, including Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal participated in these workshops.

Spreading Awareness of Autism

April is observed worldwide as Autism Awareness month, aimed at increasing understanding, promoting early diagnosis, and fostering inclusion for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Joining this global movement, Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre, in collaboration with the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), hosted an event with diverse activities.

A Story of Survival, Healing and Hope!

Welcome, a 14-year-old German Shepherd (a breed of dog), found himself in a heartbreaking condition – abandoned, emaciated, and suffering from a massive maggot-infested wound on his side. When he was brought to the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home, he was dehydrated and weighed just 13 kg. The veterinary team immediately began life-saving care, starting with IV fluids and meticulous wound cleaning under local anaesthesia.

Compassion in Action

By the infinite compassion of Param Krupalu Dev and Pujya Gurudevshri, over 475 animals were rescued from slaughter in Rajkot and Pune and provided a new lease of life. Through the collective efforts of volunteers, these animals were safely sent to an animal shelter home in Chibhada, Rajkot.

Double Gold for Vidyapeeth Student

We congratulate Vibhuti Mukeshbhai Patel, postgraduate student of Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth for clinching both the Hari Om Ashram Prerit Dr Minu Parabia Gold Medal, and the Ambaben Ambelal Vashi Gold Medal from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University!

Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Aids 2025

The 2025 edition of the Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Aids initiative received an overwhelming response from students and parents nationwide. The drive witnessed long queues and heartfelt gratitude as essential school materials were distributed at significantly subsidised rates to support students from underserved communities.

Surgery Restores Shih Tzu Stella’s Spark!

Stella, a young Shih Tzu, was brought to Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home after weeks of pain and failed treatments elsewhere. Comprehensive diagnostics – ultrasound, X-ray, bloodwork and urinalysis revealed multiple bladder stones.

Acts of Kindness Across the U.S.

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care volunteers across the United States continued their mission of compassion through inspiring initiatives in San Diego, Washington DC, and Long Island. In San Diego, volunteers collected over 850 clothing items and 129 bottles of water. Many garments were donated to the Ahaana Foundation in support of The Renascence Project, empowering women at risk and refugees, while the rest went to Sharia’s Closet to aid families in crisis.
