In August 2018, severe floods affected the state of Kerala in India due to unusually high rainfall during the monsoon season. In what was to be Kerala’s worst flood in nearly a century, many people died within a fortnight while thousands were displaced. Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care responded to this dire situation by providing immediate relief to the victims by distributing food-grains, clothes and daily essentials to individual houses, relief camps, village interiors and even a home for the mentally challenged.
