A severely injured snake was recently brought to the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home. The snake was found in a bad condition, coiled inside a bottle. When examined, it was found that a small sharp object had pierced its throat.

A wounded monkey that needed immediate medical attention was recently referred to Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home by the Valsad Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (VSPCA). The animal was in extreme pain, with indications of a traumatic eye injury.

For 20-year-old Jyotika Patel, hailing from a rural area in South Gujarat, finding a stable job had become extremely challenging. After hearing about Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre, a place that provides rural youth with vocational training at no cost, she enrolled for the Data Entry Operator Course at the Centre. This was a life changing opportunity for her.

Ankita Garasiya, a 12th standard graduate, is currently successfully employed at Jacksons Pvt Ltd as an electrician – not a common career path for rural girls! This opportunity came to her help at a crucial point, when due to familial reasons, she became the sole breadwinner of her family.

Dhruvi Ballubhai Kalant, an 11th standard science student at Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul, recently won first place in an Under – 19 archery competition and will now represent the school at the State – Level competitions!

As a first in South Gujarat, doctors of the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home carried out a blood transfusion to save the life of a sick pug. The donor pug is a sister to the receiver pug. Now that’s what we call cute compassion!
