Mental health is rarely taken seriously in rural areas, where cases of depression are often left untreated. A 24-year-old mother of a newborn recently attempted suicide by jumping into a well on the 7th day after her delivery. Her family rushed her to Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre in Dharampur, where she found a new lease of life.

Jayamati, a young infant was presumed dead and taken to the cemetery by her family. But upon seeing her breathe again, her family immediately rushed her to Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre.
