Adopt-a-Highway Programme USA

Under the Adopt-a-Highway programme in the United States, cleanliness drives have been undertaken by volunteers of the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care centres in San Diego and Indianapolis, in association with the Imperial County and Noblesville Street Department, respectively.

Various centres across the United States, including Long Island, San Francisco, Princeton, Philadelphia, Parsippany, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, Indianapolis, Newark, and Houston, undertook various hunger relief initiatives in their localities.

Contributing towards a tuberculosis-free Gujarat

According to the state health department data, Gujarat has over 1.1 lakh tuberculosis (TB) patients under treatment across 33 districts. In order to tackle this grave condition which can badly affect the lungs and even be a cause of death, the Government of Gujarat has resolved to make the state free from the disease by 2025.

A new ambulance in Mumbai for animals and birds

On the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, Pujya Gurudevshri inaugurated an Animal Ambulance, under the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Helpline initiative, a dedicated number to help save the lives of sick and injured stray animals and birds in Mumbai.

From learning to livelihood!

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care conducts various vocational training courses free of cost to empower women from the weaker sections of the society. Recently, a Basic Beauty course was conducted in Mumbai for training less-privileged women in parlour related skills. Spread over a period of 3 months, 35 women enrolled for this course conducted by professional beauty and make-up artists.
