Varde Chendarbhai Tulsiram, a farmer hailing from a rural village near Nashik, Maharashtra was in dire need of cattle to help facilitate his farming operation. He enrolled in the Shrimad Rajchandra Cattle Rehabilitation Programme, where cattle saved from slaughter are rehabilitated to farmers for helping their livelihood. The programme also ensures that cattle get secure housing.

Recently, a severely injured parrot was brought to the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home. The parrot displayed clear indications of trauma and was unable to even flap its wings, the team of doctors performed an emergency surgery to insert a pin in the parrot’s wing. The bird has now recovered and is ready to fly in the skies again!
