Winter Essentials Distribution

Organisation of an Inter-Village Cricket Tournament

More than 350 youth and villagers attended an inter-village cricket tournament organised under the Community Care initiative. The matches were held between 9 villages of Karanjveri, Asura, Bamti, Kangvi, Nani Dhol Dungri, Sherimal and Baroliya.

Fun Event for Slum Children in Mumbai

Volunteers visited the slum areas in Kandivali, Mumbai to organise a fun-filled event for children. The event began with prayers, followed by a flag making activity. This was followed by a flag hoisting ceremony and a session of interactive games.

Capacity Building Workshop for Panchayat Members

As a part of the Community Care programme, a capacity building workshop was organised at the Ashram for village panchayat members on ‘Gram Panchayat Development Planning’. The workshop was facilitated by Unnati – Organisation for Development Education, a voluntary non-profit organisation with the aim to promote social inclusion and democratic governance so that the vulnerable sections of society are empowered to participate in mainstream development and decision-making processes.

Animal Care Initiatives in Rajkot and Guwahati

In Guwahati, volunteers visited a local animal shelter that provides care for homeless dogs. The volunteers enjoyed playing with the animals and spending quality time at the shelter. The shelter administrators were grateful to Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care for donating essentials like food, blankets and medicine.
