A yoga workshop was conducted for students of the Gurukul Centre For Special Children in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. The school is a unique educational centre for special children, catering to the needs of children with cerebral palsy

Clean-up Project on a National Highway in San Francisco

Armed with helmets, gloves, reflective vests, and trash bags, volunteers of the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care San Francisco centre participated in a road cleanliness drive, under the US government’s Adopt-a-Highway programme. Through this activity, a 1/2 mile patch of Highway 880 was cleaned by the volunteers.

South Gujarat is home to many marginalised tribal communities. Inhabiting remote areas, these communities lack access to decent education, leading to sub-par outcomes – only 48% students graduate from Grade 10, 11,000-plus students dropout annually and just 2% of students move ahead to pursue higher education.

Urmilaben’s baby girl was born with an extremely low birth-weight of less than 1kg at Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre, Dharampur. On birth, she had severe respiratory issues, combined with a very low oxygen level.
