Additionally, they generously donated Thanksgiving and Christmas decoration items to Father Joe’s Villages, spreading joy to those in need.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) workshop for students of Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul

An Artificial Intelligence (AI) workshop took place at Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, introducing over 100 students to AI tools such as QuickDraw, ChatGPT, Grammarly, and SlidesGo. The workshop was led by 2 volunteers, Ms. Prisha Shroff and Mr. Iraj Shroff, which focused on AI’s applications, including image recognition and natural language processing.

Community Care Initiatives in Manchester and London

In Manchester, volunteers from Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care collaborated with Mad Dog Street Project, Gatley Foodbank, and Don’t Walk Past Group to distribute goody bags filled with essential items to the homeless. These included mugs, apple pies, biscuits, and blankets, marking a warm welcome to the New Year.

Hearts thumped with joy, as 190 higher secondary students of Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul set out on their annual excursion to explore a unique destination – Dhamni Ashram Shala, a rural residential school. Nestled in serene natural surroundings, it provided a refreshing unwinding experience; where students of both the schools bonded over games and other activities.

Youth-Driven Innovation: Gaucrete Pilot Project at Global Youth Festival

The Gaucrete Pilot Project was recently launched at Shrimad Rajchandra Jivamaitridham (JMD). This initiative repurposes cow dung into eco-friendly bricks, that can absorb radiation and have natural temperature regulation properties. Over 1000 tonnes of cow dung is produced at Shrimad Rajchandra Jivamaitridham annually. The Gaucrete Pilot Project demonstrates innovative approaches to waste management.

Innovative Plantable Pots – Youth in action for a greener future

The recent Global Youth Festival at the Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram Dharampur, witnessed the active participation of thousands of youth from over 20 countries. Among the plethora of activities, specially curated for the youth, were impact projects aimed at the upliftment of tribal communities. One such standout initiative was the creation of plantable pots.

Stevia Pilot Project – For the first time in South Gujarat

Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care has initiated a pioneering pilot project focused on cultivating Stevia, a natural sweetener with transformative potential for health practices. This endeavour aims to promote holistic well-being by offering an alternative to sugar-based products, particularly beneficial for diabetics and individuals seeking weight management solutions.

Making Coco bowls and Cocopeat

As part of supporting the Stevia pilot project, participants were trained in the art of crafting premium-quality coco bowls and coco planters from coconut shells. This initiative not only adds value to coconut waste but also contributes to the sustainability of the project by utilising cocopeat, a byproduct of coco bowl production, as fertiliser for Stevia cultivation.
