Hinchlal Chaudhari, a 52-year resident of Mumbai was admitted to SRH with a non-healing ulcer of his left leg, extending from the mid-thigh to the knee. The patient had sought initial consultation from reputed hospitals in Mumbai but his condition kept on deteriorating. Nital was born with deformed ankles and knees. When she was six years old, she received surgery to straighten her ankles. When she was 14, both her knees were operated upon, but doctors did not provide any post-operative physical therapy, so she still had a hunched gait.
