According to the state health department data, Gujarat has over 1.1 lakh tuberculosis (TB) patients under treatment across 33 districts. Recently, a Basic Beauty course was conducted in Mumbai for training less-privileged women in parlour related skills. Spread over a period of 3 months, 35 women enrolled for this course conducted by professional beauty and make-up artists.
