Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, under its Green India initiative, conducted impactful Biopharmacy Kitchen Garden projects in Valsad and Botad, Gujarat, empowering rural communities with natural solutions for better health.
In both locations, home gardens were established featuring 17 species of medicinal and vegetable plants, benefiting both humans and livestock. Detailed informational booklets guided villagers on the uses, preparation, and health benefits of each plant, fostering long-term self-reliance and awareness.
To tackle widespread anaemia, iron kadais (cooking vessels) were distributed, encouraging iron-rich cooking practices within households.
Driven by the dedication and compassion of SRLC volunteers, this initiative promoted sustainable living, improved nutrition, and restored ancient herbal wisdom. It left a lasting impact by equipping families with practical tools to nurture their health naturally—reflecting SRLC’s commitment to holistic community well-being and environmental care.
