Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care volunteers in San Diego organised an Earth Day Picnic, teaching children and adults about sustainable practices. Children enjoyed painting plant pots and designing upcycled gift tags, while adults engaged in Earth Day trivia. Sustainable plates and utensils were used to serve food.
The New York Youth Group participated in an official event alongside the Montclair Mayor, where they planted vegetables and cleaned up the park during the 3-hour event.
In Brampton, volunteers, in collaboration with Credit Valley Conservation, organised a tree-planting event as part of Missions Grow Green Drive. Over 200+ native trees and shrubs were planted, with the Consul General of India, Ms. Apoorva Srivastava, commending the initiative.
Additionally, Los Angeles volunteers contributed their efforts at Shadetree Nursery, and Canadian volunteers organised a Mindful Mother’s Day programme, including yoga, meditation, and a park clean-up activity at Lakefront Promenade Park in Mississauga.
