Multi-fold initiatives of
Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care in North America

Various centres of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care across North America conducted social welfare initiatives benefitting their local communities.

Clothes Distribution Drives:

  • Manhattan: The New York Youth Group of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care donated several boxes of clothes to Housing Works, an organisation serving the homeless and addressing the challenges of HIV/AIDS.
  • San Francisco: With the support of Bombas, a company known for producing high-quality socks, volunteers donated more than a hundred socks to WeHope, a local social organisation.

Back-to-School Drives:

  • Indianapolis: Responding to the educational needs of the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis; volunteers arranged for a range of educational supplies including pencils, colored pencils, glue, construction paper, notebooks and highlighters. They were able to fulfil an entire year’s requirement for 100 students.
  • Philadelphia: The centre made a significant impact by donating 475+ boxes of school supplies to Dr. Tanner G. Duckrey School. Each box contained several essential school items, collectively touching the lives of over 500 students throughout the year.
  • San Diego: In collaboration with Staples, the San Diego centre donated over 400 back-to-school supply kits to Castle Park Elementary School and Otay Elementary School. Both schools are Title I institutions that support low-income families.
  • Long Island: The Long Island centre hosted a impactful back-to-school drive at the Tri-CYA facility in Huntington. Over 1,200 school kits with essential items were offered to Title 1 schools across Long Island.
