Injured turtle successfully treated at Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home

In a recent case, a turtle was crushed by a tractor near Dharampur and was immediately brought to Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Nursing Home for treatment.

The medical team diagnosed the turtle with a fracture in its shell and sedated it to prevent further pain. While under sedation, the team cleaned the wound with antiseptic and then used a wiring technique to repair the fragmented shell.

The turtle spent over a month at the nursing home while the team monitored its recovery. Now, the turtle has been nursed back to health and is ready to lead a healthy life!’
