One of the fundamental pillars of success for the functioning of various programmes of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care are the staff and employees, whom we lovingly refer to as ‘sevarpits’. In an effort to recognise and reward them for their efforts, as well as re-engage and further motivate them, a one-day retreat was organised for them.
The immersive and rejuvenating retreat was attended by over 80 staff members from Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth, Shrimad Rajchandra Gurukul, Shrimad Rajchandra Skill Development Centre and the Education Outreach Programme. As part of the retreat, the group watched an inspiring video of Pujya Gurudevshri’s Udghosh, which was followed by a series of powerful and informative sessions. Atmarpit Rakshitji conducted a session highlighting the importance of their role in transforming the lives of students and explained the virtues and mindset of a ‘true sevarpit’. Through an active session of team games, Atmarpit Snehalji emphasised the value of unity in diversity and helped deepen their bond of teamwork. Another workshop was organised through which the vision and goal of the Educational Care programme was re-affirmed and discussed. Sevarpits also reflected on the last academic year and brainstormed on initiatives for the upcoming year. The group also thoroughly enjoyed an experience sharing session, followed by an awards ceremony to acknowledge the special contributions of a few sevarpits who went above-and-beyond in their duties. The day ended with a photo session and divine arti at the magnificent Jinmandir
