Embodying the spirit of compassion and selfless service, volunteers from the Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care Singapore Centre carried out a series of heartfelt humanitarian initiatives, touching over 600 lives through their dedicated efforts to spread joy, comfort, and care among the underprivileged and elderly residents.
The team celebrated Hari Raya with residents, delighting them with their favourite bean curd as they joyfully listened to sacred chants. Across various visits, volunteers led engaging warm-up exercises, memory and Bingo games, laughing yoga, and colouring sessions, creating lively, heartwarming interactions. Each gathering concluded with refreshments and treats that residents thoroughly enjoyed, adding sweetness to the moments of togetherness.
Extending their compassion beyond the residents’ home, volunteers also reached out to the wider community by providing essential items to needy families. On the occasion of Labour Day, they visited a construction site and distributed care bags to migrant workers, a thoughtful gesture that brought smiles and gratitude from the hardworking recipients.
Through these compassionate acts, the Singapore Centre continues to embody the essence of Love and Care in Action, bringing hope and happiness to every life they touch.
