Over 3,000 youth from 172+ cities across the world recently came together for the Global Youth Festival (GYF) 2022 at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur to engage in various activities like knowledge sessions, volunteering activities, sports, and much more!
As part of the GYF, a unique hackathon competition was organised, ‘Hacks for Humanity’, which gave youth the opportunity to solve the world’s greatest problems – such as reducing global food wastage, reducing landfill waste, improving access to medicine in rural India, etc.
Groups came together to collaborate, lock on to an impact statement and present a pitch for their solutions to industry leaders. Over 40 innovative ideas were presented for various problems. Impressed with the presentations, Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Hon’ble Home Minister of Gujarat, suggested that these solutions should also be shared with the Government of Gujarat’s Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department! Winners of the competition received an award from the revered hands of Pujya Gurudevshri.
We would like to extend our gratitude to 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐤 and 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 (𝐈𝐆𝐈) for generously sponsoring this inspiring and transformative event.
