Ghatkopar youth group organises an excursion for the less privileged kids

As part of the Humanitarian Care programme, several initiatives were undertaken to bring joy to the underserved sections of the society. The organisation’s multifaceted approach encompassed educational, recreational, and humanitarian activities, with the overarching goal of enhancing the well-being of the communities served.

Visit to Anand Niketan:

Volunteers visited Anand Niketan, a specially-abled home in Mumbai. Volunteers conducted pranic healing sessions and activities such as yoga, played housie and sang songs together. It created an atmosphere of joy and positivity, leaving a lasting impact on the residents.

Spoken English classes for the vernacular medium students at SPRJ Kanyashala

Spoken English and grammer classes were conducted for the Gujarati medium students at SPRJ Kanyashala School in Ghatkopar. Educational support was provided through innovative teaching methods, including worksheets and debates. Snacks were distributed, enhancing the overall experience for the children.

Mumbai Darshan tour for inmates of The Children’s Home, Mankhurd:

Young volunteers from Ghatkopar Youth Group organised an enriching Mumbai Darshan tour for children from The Children’s Home, Mankhurd. The day involved visits to Veermata Jijabat Bhosale Udhyan and Nehru Science Centre. The children were exciting to see the animals at the zoo and exhibits at the Science Centre, making it a joyful and memorable experience.

Hand cycles offered to physically challenged individuals

Hand-drive handcycles were donated to two physically challenged individuals at Hughes Road, extending support to enhance their mobility and independence.

These initiatives highlight holistic approach to community service, combining education, recreation, and humanitarian aid.
