In the blessed town of Vavania, Gujarat, revered as the birthplace of Shrimad Rajchandraji, a free multi-speciality mega medical camp was organised on 9th April 2023, through which over 11,000 patients received high-quality healthcare!
A team of 60+ doctors from Mumbai, Rajkot, Morbi, USA and Canada put their compassion into action, offering a variety of multi-speciality services, including general medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology, oncology & oncosurgery, cardiology, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, dentistry, neurology & neurosurgery, urology, nephrology, plastic surgery, etc. A pharmacy, radiology lab and pathology lab were also made available.
During the camp, physical aids and appliances such as artificial limbs, prosthetic arms, wheelchairs, cerebral palsy chairs, hearing aids, corrective eyeglasses, etc., were distributed to those in need.
In the lead-up to the camp, a screening and outreach effort was undertaken to ensure people in need were made aware of the camp. With support from the public health centres, over 2 lakh people across 120 villages were effectively screened.
Bringing Shrimad Rajchandraji and Pujya Gurudevshri’s compassion to life, this medical camp were successful in providing high-quality treatment to thousands of people in need and instilling a sense of renewed hope for the future in them.
