In a heartwarming display of community service, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care volunteers orchestrated food distributions during the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. From slums and orphanages in areas like Nerul, Panvel, to the western areas such as Aarey, Poisar, Gorai, and Vasai, selfless volunteers extended a helping hand. Central & South Mumbai volunteers undertook a week-long mission, reaching institutions like Kanyashala School (Ghatkopar), B J Home for children (Matunga), and Don Bosco Orphanage, Mahul Destitute Home, and street dwellers in Sion, Reay Road, Chinchpokli, and Kamathipura. A total of 2,950 lives were touched in this effort.
Meanwhile, Sion Hospital witnessed the altruistic distribution of 50 ration kits to the thalassemia ward’s young residents.
