Elwood, New York, experienced a vibrant Earth Day celebration as over 75 dedicated volunteers from Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care helped transformed Elwood Park, planting 30 saplings and sowing 3,000 square feet of wildflowers, symbolising a collective commitment to a healthier planet.
Distinguished guests, including Legislator Stephanie Bontempi and Councilman Salvatore Ferro, were in attendance to express their support for the community’s efforts. The presence of Town Clerk Andrew P. Raia and Director Cable Jamison also emphasised the event’s significance, highlighting the Town of Huntington’s commitment to fostering a sustainable future.
