The bonds of love and care are strong enough to bring communities together. Followers of Islam world over celebrate the ninth month of Islamic lunar calendar as the holy month of Ramadan. Every day during this month Muslims observe complete fast in the hours of daylight and break their fast at an evening meal called Iftar. During this month, volunteers from Dubai centre served four Iftar meals each at mosques in Mankhool, Karama and Sonapur camp in Dubai.
In another such activity, volunteers distributed juice to more than 1000 workers at a construction site in Bur Dubai to help them overcome the pangs of thirst in the hot weather of Dubai.
In a wonderful gesture of amity, the volunteers from Muscat centre also distributed Jain Food consists of Fruits, Dates, Juices, Laban & Water for Iftar meals to their fasting Muslim brothers at Four different Mosques in Al Amerat Area, in the neighbourhood of Muscat. They tried to connect hearts in a spirit of universal brotherhood.
