Volunteers in Singapore, came together to provide essential nourishment and resources to those in need, particularly workers and families facing hardships. Several events were organised like:

1. Nourishment for Workers:

  • Lunch Distribution: A total of 250 lunch packets and refreshing drinks were distributed to MRT workers, ensuring they received a wholesome meal during their shifts.
  • Goodie Bags: 60 goodie bags were prepared for construction workers, each containing water flasks, snacks, and drinks to help them stay hydrated and energised.
  • Special Meal Distribution: On a particularly hot day, volunteers served biryani lunch packs, providing a comforting meal for those working outdoors.
  • Reusable Water Bottles: 70 migrant workers at another construction site were offered water in reusable bottles to keep them hydrated.

2. Monthly Food Distribution:
Monthly distribution of essential food items, benefitted 150 needy families. This initiative aims to provide ongoing support and ensure that families have access to necessities.

3. Mahavir Jayanti Commemoration:
To honour the birth of Lord Mahavir, volunteers collaborated with ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre Singapore to donate three laptops and ten UV light bulbs to aid in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation efforts.

Impact
The outreach activities significantly contributed to the well-being of the community, benefiting over 500 individuals. The support provided to workers helped them endure challenging working conditions, while the food distribution addressed immediate needs for families facing economic difficulties. Additionally, the donations to ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre will enhance their operational capacity in wildlife rescue efforts.
