Celebrating through Community Service in San Francisco, USA

Volunteers of San Francisco celebrated the birthday of one of their youth volunteers by organising a toy distribution drive through which items such as playdough, art kits, puzzles, play sets, etc. were donated to the children residing at LifeMoves Villa. LifeMoves is an organisation providing housing and support services to homeless families and children.

On another occasion – the first day of the Jain festival of Paryushan – volunteers donated new and gently used adult and children’s clothes, toys, games, blankets, sleeping bags, etc. to LifeMoves in San Jose.

Volunteers also distributed sporting clothes to the Catholic Charities, an organisation that helps restricted families participate in youth sports so they too can experience the positive benefits of playing.
