The primary objective of the Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) scheme, launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (Government of India), is to empower needy and disabled persons by providing them with various kinds of aids and appliances (including hearing aids, low vision aids, etc.) required for managing the disabilities suffered by them. Under this scheme, Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital receives grant-in-aid for supplying artificial limbs and appliances (prostheses and orthoses) for the rehabilitation of physically-challenged persons.
