A young expectant mother's safe delivery experience through the Shrimad Rajchandra Safe Motherhood Programme

20 year-old expectant mother Ravina Rathad, residing in a village in rural Gujarat was admitted to Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital, Dharampur with complaints of weakness.
 
She had been suffering from generalised weakness for over 3 weeks, along with a decreased appetite.
She was presented with labour pain and after a diagnosis of sickle cell anaemia, severe hypertension and other related complications, an emergency cesarean section surgery was performed to ensure her health as well as successfully deliver a healthy baby.
 
Similar to Ravina’s case, thousands of safe deliveries have taken place under the Shrimad Rajchandra Safe Motherhood Programme!
