A Step Towards Self-Reliance

To empower underprivileged women financially, a Mehendi course was conducted in Mumbai, wherein 46 housewives from less privileged backgrounds, learned cone-making and intricate Mehendi designs under the guidance of volunteers and an ex-student of the same course. A competition was also organised and winners received certificates and recognition. The event concluded with refreshments and warm camaraderie. Participants expressed enthusiasm for more advanced classes, taking one step closer to financial independence and self- reliance through their newfound skills.
