On the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, Pujya Gurudevshri inaugurated an Animal Ambulance, under the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Helpline initiative, a dedicated number to help save the lives of sick and injured stray animals and birds in Mumbai. With the growing demand for this service, a third ambulance has been added to the fleet. This ambulance will be manned by a veterinary doctor and medical staff, and is well-equipped with a veterinary treatment kit that allows for performing first aid, vaccinations and minor surgeries on animals. Since inception, over 30000 animals and birds have been treated in Mumbai.
Through such initiatives, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care continues to offer freedom from pain and injury to animals and birds in need!
