
Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, in collaboration with Kamdhenu University, Gujarat and academic partnership with University of Glasgow, United Kingdom; hosted an advanced small animal neurology workshop. The three-day course, held from 7th to 9th November and extended with a second batch from 10th to 12th November due to high demand, attracted over 50 veterinarians from more than a dozen states across India.
The workshop combined lectures, hands-on sessions, and case-based discussions, helping participants enhance their skills in recognising and localising neurological disorders, using imaging and pathology for advanced diagnostics, gaining practical experience in neurolocalisation, cerebrospinal fluid analysis, and spinal surgery techniques on cadaver specimens. The workshop was led by Dr. Ana Cloquell Miro and Dr. Adriana Kaczmarska, Clinicians in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery from the University of Glasgow, along with Dr. D. B. Patil, Former Director of Research and Dean- PG Studies, Kamdhenu University joining as guest speaker. This landmark initiative marked a major step forward for advanced veterinary neurology training in India.
