A memorable Independence Day celebration for under-privileged children in Navi Mumbai

Volunteers from Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care and Viacom18 came together to create a wonderful Independence Day experience for underprivileged children from Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. Through an inspiring session, children learned about the lives and stories of India’s freedom fighters. With the help of volunteers, they also made hand written cards with personalised messages for soldiers of the Indian Army! The children were then taken for a viewing of ‘The Lion King’ movie which they thoroughly enjoyed! For many of them, it was the first time watching a 3D movie in a multiplex. An unforgettable and touching experience for all involved, the children returned home with memories they will cherish for a long time!
