Let us celebrate the academic success of Nirali Jayeshbhai Patel, residing in the remote village of Fulwadi in Dharampur Taluka (Valsad District). Daughter of a farmer, Nirali was an average student who scored 60.92% in her 12th standard. Post her 12th standard, she decided to pursue an undergraduate degree. However, due to lack of exposure, she was not sure of which subject to study. She approached Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth for guidance and faculty members of the college expertly guided her. She chose to take admission in Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth to pursue her B.Sc. in Chemistry.
In her first year, Nirali was not aware of the different subjects within the curriculum. However, faculty members provided her consistent support and made her comfortable in the college environment. She was encouraged to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the college because of which helped her alleviate her stage fear.
Nirali entered her final year of B.Sc. during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was taught by the committed team of lecturers via online lectures. She says, “Despite the pandemic, I really enjoyed studying via online lectures. Revision sessions were undertaken by the teachers. Lecturers called each and every student to check on their health and overall wellbeing. They never hesitated to help me in times of need. My teachers guided me on how to study so that I could score very well in the final exams. It is because of this guidance that I managed to score 91.8% the final B.Sc. exams and topped the college.”
Nirali is currently pursuing her M.Sc. in Chemistry from Shrimad Rajchandra Vidyapeeth and aspires to pursue a career in the field of teaching.
