A plaguing concern in rural India is providing affordable health-care solutions to the masses, especially in remote areas. The rural population of the Valsad District of Gujarat rank amongst the poorest in the state, grappling with issues like Poverty, Malnutrition, Illiteracy and the Lack of Awareness of Health-related Issues. These factors lead to Premature Deliveries, Physical & Mental Disabilities, Vulnerability to Diseases, Illnesses and other problems. Keeping these factors in mind, Shrimad Rajchandra Love & Care's comprehensive Health Care Programme provides Quality Medical Care at Free or Highly Subsidised Rates. Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital (SRH) offers a wide range of Services & Medical Technology rarely available in Rural Hospitals. The Hospital has 75 Beds, but the number of patients is continuously growing and the Hospital constantly struggles to treat more patients than for which the infrastructure was designed. The Bed Occupancy Rate is consistently at 130-140% of the current capacity in the In-Patient Department. The situation has become critical because more and more patients are being referred to the Hospital! It has become imperative to expand the scope of health-care services and related infrastructure in view of the needs of the local population. A Bigger, Modern and Technologically-advanced Hospital is the need of the Poor Tribal Belt of Southern Gujarat. And thus, a new Hospital is being constructed to meet the need of the hour. The new Hospital will have 250 Beds and will include state-of-the-art facilities. And to aid the construction of the New Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital, 2 Hardcore Trekking Enthusiasts will Raise Funds by Climbing the Highest Non-technical Peak of India, Mount Stok Kangri, in August-2018. The Peak stands at 6153 Meters above MSL in the Ladakh Region of Jammu & Kashmir, India. The uniqueness of this Expedition is that We will consume Only Jain Food (avoid consumption of Root Vegetable like Potatoes, Onions, Garlic, Carrot, Radish, etc). It's indeed difficult to Survive in such Harsh Climatic Conditions on such a Diet, but we will Live up to the Challenges we will Face. Our Expedition is being supported by EatEasy Foods who will be providing Ready-to-Eat Dehydrated Food Packets, and our Accommodation & Logistics is being managed by Endless Expeditions.
